Murinni on Ivory
I started with a dark ivory base and used lustre glass frit chips as a background to the decorative elements of this bead. Ivory dots have been dragged to a point and a single murinni chip fills the space between. The ivory base has a curdled aged appearance as the reaction between colours plays out on the glass surface. A truly captivating part of the alchemy of glass. Measures 30mm across and 14mm at the deepest centre. The metal elements are all Stirling silver. Supplied with a 20"/50cm twisted silk cord with a simple loop knot fixture. These pendants can always be removed from the supplied cord and worn on any other chain or chocker you may already have.
Hand made in my Busselton studio in the southwest of Western Australia.
