Posy in Blues
Altogether there are 13 pressed glass flower and 5 leaf elements in this collection inspired by blue. I used vintage glass bottle to display them and overall the height is 11.5cm. I used cobalt blue, pale blue, milky white and a steel grey for the leaves and flower centres. Glass is attached to copper wire in the flame and pressed into shape before kiln annealing. Following annealing the wire is cleaned and the collection in this case is wrapped with wire to hold them in shape.
Please handle with care. The elements can be moved as the copper wire is flexible but take care not to bend acutely where the glass and copper wire meet. I like arranging some posies but feel free to remove the wire wrap and arrange as you prefer.
To clean, dip and swish in water and dry using a soft cloth or paper towel.
