Look What I Found - Adjustable Necklace
Well the story is I found a box in the office I didn't realise had finished jewellery in. I wondered where a couple of things had got to in the moving studios episode so it was a surprise to pick up a box marked cards and found it wasn't quite sounding like cards at all!!
Anyway such a pleasure to work with these colours. My favourite red is used as a surface decoration as well as the spacer beads, slider bead and end caps. In the mix is a layered transparent over opaque red which always has that extra luminous quality to it. Ivory and copper green are the other colours used here which I love to etch to a matte finish so there's a nice mix of matte and shiny. The centre bead features light and dark shades of red in lines and swirls and measures 22mm in diameter with sizes graduating down to 9.5mm.
This is an adjustable necklace so getting on and off is easy with the unique slider bead system. Longest length is 84cm and of course you can draw the length as high as you want.
What a happy find!!
