Eclectic Mix II
Lots going on here with this adjustable necklace. I photographed this piece as the light flooded in from my skylight. Too lovely to miss and perfect for you to see how these look in the sun. I have used some of my favourite glass. Copper green with red features on the beads with the ivory base colour. I've used murrini on one bead. The murrini were placed over some reactive glass and then encased in clear. The other green bead is also reduction glass under heavy clear encasement. The red bead is transparent red over opaque which is my all time favourite accent colour with a set like this. The two ribbed beads are reduction glass again and two little red beads to finish. Some beads and all the accent beads have been etched (matt finish) to give some textural nuance. These colours may not be everybody's cup of tea but they all rolled together on the day. So, the centre three beads are 18mm, next two are 15mm, ribbed beads 11mm and little red are 9mm.
