Raku and Black Necklace

Just raku glass decoration on black in this collection of eleven hand made glass beads.  Each feature bead is separated by hand made black spacer beads, a slider bead for length adjustment and finished with end caps.

To adjust length simply stretch the rubber slightly and move the slider bead along.  Wear at whatever length suits the occasion.

Largest bead measure 21mm and features a large dot dectoration which has some of the stunning colour reactions so typical of this gorgeous glass that I love using.  The dots have become squared off as they melted into the black which is exactly what I hoped it would do.  

The next pair feature my hand made murrini chips placed on the surface, followed by dots manipulated into scroll design.  Next are another pair of dot design beads, followed by spiralled lines and then the last pair dots again and this small pair measure 9mm.

The feature beads are matt finish and silky smooth to the touch.

I love the earthiness of this combination.  It's very versatile to wear with a huge range of colours.  Check the photos both in and out of the sun to see the details.
