Lavender with Roses
Lavender spikes sit above a collection of 5 soft lilac roses, 3 lavender spikes, 3 aubergine bells, 5 milky starflowers and 5 copper green leaves. All nestled in a vintage bottle I purchased from a local market. The bottle was excavated from Bunbury Queens Gardens and is a beautiful squared off shape and a slight violet tinge not really evident in the photos. I suspect this bottle may develop further lavender tinge with more exposure to the sunlight as these bottles often do from this era. It's a quirk of chemistry enjoyed as a rare treat these days that this glass was once perfectly clear but turns this colour over time. There is a slight crack in one corner of this one but it's really not large and just a sign of it's story.
Measurements are 118mm high from tip of lavender spike. Bottle measures 75mm high and 36mm square in the body.
PLEASE NOTE: It is possible to purchase the flower posy only if you prefer and I have made that option available in the options drop down menu.
Handle with care, this item is made of glass and may break on impact with hard surfaces.
